| Swedish TV show calls rapper Ice Cube a "crack negro"! |

During the show 'Nittileaks' on Swedish TV Kanal 5, Swedish celebrity Alex Schulman commented about his visit to Vine Street in L.A. stating "det stod en crack-neger i varje hörn" ("there was a crack negro at every corner"). During the comment a picture of rapper Ice Cube was also shown. The program hosts Filip and Fredrik (also Swedish Celebrities) laughed at his comment however their reaction is noted as being far from Harry Connick Jr when he was in a similar situation. The incident has caused outrage within the Afro-Swedish communities with many demanding Alex Schulman is sacked immediately and an apology made from Kanal 5. Tensions are already high in Sweden following a number of racist incidents, which have led to recent demonstrations. Ice Cube is due to visit Sweden Tue Jul 19 - Gothenburg / Fri Jul 22 - Stockholm, so far there's been no comment from the rapper on this incident. |
