A new year and new songs for our urbanlifeipod.Our new years resolution was to add more funk to our diet and we’ve started with Stone Cold Funk Vol.1 from back in the day. With temperatures around-10 c, some serious Stone Cold Funk should warm things up. With wars in the Middle East, a sinking economy and global warming, we had to begin with a track which is apt for the world we live in right now, (I Got) So Much Trouble In My Mind by Sir Joe Quaterman & Free Soul, fits like a glove. Listen to these lyrics and you can really identify where he’s coming from. But what goes down must go up, so we follow up with a few gems like Bra (Not the Swedish word for good but the tune sure is) by Cymande and finish with my personal favourite, Idle Hands by Harlem River Drive. This track is a Stone cold killer. Urbanlife.se motto number #8
