- I don’t do Valentine! It’s just commercial! She knows how I feel about her anyway! I don’t need a day to tell me what to tell her! She doesn’t care about Valentines anyway! It’s all about money!
Here are some of our top Valentine’s Day tips for men:1. Take Valentines Day as an excuse to find someone special in your life. For example, if you like the girl on the bus or in your class but you are a little shy to approach her then here’s a romantic way a friend used to meet his partner. Sitting in the library opposite the girl he admired he waited until she went to look at another books and then he slipped a romantic card inside her book. She was so impressed she called him the same day and 6 yrs later they have two lovely kids. 2. Surprise your girlfriend, wife or lover. Your partner would be expecting a nice moment with you but you need to ensure that it is a pleasant surprise and not otherwise. No need to break the bank either, a simple card with words of love is always welcome. You can also send nice and warm love notes with flowers, gifts and of course, chocolates. 3. Start your morning by giving your partner/lover a beautiful bouquet of exotic flowers. You can buy them from your local shop or order them from an online florist. You can find everything from deep red roses to say “I love you” in a special way to fresh and bright orchids or a bunch of exotic Gerberas for the occasion. Choose from small, medium, large and assorted bouquets starting from 39kr to 500kr and above. And if you don’t know your chrysanthemums from your viburnum opulus, then a good shop assistant should be able to help you create something wonderful. Or why not order online from sites such as; interflora.se, euroflorist.se, and flora.se 4. Try leaving love notes all around the house so that she gets to read them everywhere she goes. A simple but romantic way to see a smile on your loved one’s face.  5. If you are buying gifts for her then check out the gift shop at Åhléns City, one of the largest department stores in Stockholm. Lindex, Duka and designonline.se are great gift stores as well. After something a little extra special? Check out sexigunder.se Items are sure to please both you and her. 6. Will it be lunch or dinner? You can do both. You can check out some of the Afro/ Caribbean restaurants for a 5-course special lunch and then take her out for a movie or just take a walk around. An early dinner means that you can relax in the evening with a non-action film (hey, it’s just one night!) or dance away the night. 7. If you are taking your partner out for dinner why not make reservations at some of the best Afro/ Caribbean restaurants in Sweden. This is not the time for McDonalds! The sooner you make the reservation, the better. Maybe, you can even buy something special for your partner so that she can wear it with her million Dollar smile. 8. Dress for the occasion if you intend to entertain your partner. You can choose from formal to semi-formal or even casual. And remember, not every woman wants to see what brand of underwear you have so take the opportunity to wear a shirt or trousers which are ironed. Yes ironed (ask your mum!). Also, maybe it’s time for a long awaited shave unless your partner has the hot for your stubbles! 9. Alternatively, spend the night at home. Purchase some chicken and veggies and cook up your own special recipe. Do not mention football or any other sports and make sure your mobile is turned off and the Xbox unplugged; this is a night just for the two of you. Later, give her a nice body massage using aromatic oils so that she feels completely relaxed. This can be extremely sensuous as well as an incredible healing moment for both of you. Make Valentine’s Day really special for your partner, and don’t forget to remind your dad!
