The Limits of ControlI recognize this actor, was my first thought as I watched the trailer below for the new film 'The Limits of Control' but I couldn't think of his name or which film he had played in.

His name is Isaach De Bankole and he stars in the lead role. Strangely I'd always pictured him in an supporting role but it's great to see him perform as a lead actor.

This marks the fourth collaboration between him and Director Jim Jarmusch, following "Night on Earth," "Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai," and "Coffee and Cigarettes."



"The Limits of Control" is the story of a mysterious loner (played De Bankole), a stranger, whose activities remain meticulously outside the law. He is in the process of completing a job, yet he trusts no one, and his objectives are not initially divulged. Set in the striking and varied landscapes of contemporary Spain, his journey, paradoxically both intently focused and dreamlike, takes him not only across Spain but also through his own consciousness.

The film is out later this year and we'll give you our full review. This time I'll remember his name.
