Slavery - The Game promises to be a new upcoming "game" in 2012, according to the website and the video trailer. It seems to have already divided the internet with sites like youtube ,where most voters dislike it while many commentators are for it.

The goal of the game is to become the most powerful slave trader and the teaser states, "Go back to 17th century when Europe ruled the world. Make a tremendous fortune. Buy slaves. Discipline them. Exploit them."

Could this be just a gimmick to show how far gaming could go or a reflection that the public have no limits on what is offensive?

From my understanding of this... It is suppose to be an ad in Amsterdam to raise awarenees to slavery. The Dutch feels this will be helpful to everyone. But i think if they wanted to bring awarness to slavey they could have done it in a better way. This whole thing in my opinion is offensive!!! But it is not going to be a game. And no it is not funny! Being an Black American i was offended...big time!!!
