In less than 3 months from their online debut, the UK’s first ever Black British comedy sitcom surpasses all expectations gaining over 300,000 views online on the official website and on Youtube.
Meet the Adebanjos, which launched online on the 26th of June 2011 follows the comic mishaps of a Black British family living in London and is currently airing 3 episodes on their website. The comedy has clearly struck a chord with its fans who cannot seem to get enough.
Slavery - The Game promises to be a new upcoming "game" in 2012, according to the website and the video trailer. It seems to have already divided the internet with sites like youtube ,where most voters dislike it while many commentators are for it.
The goal of the game is to become the most powerful slave trader and the teaser states, "Go back to 17th century when Europe ruled the world. Make a tremendous fortune. Buy slaves. Discipline them. Exploit them."
Could this be just a gimmick to show how far gaming could go or a reflection that the public have no limits on what is offensive? Let us know what you think.
