For those who haven't got tired of football (but we don't see how anyone can) then why not see the final of The African Challenge League which will take place at Mälarhöjdens IP on Saturday 31st JULY 2010 at 16:30 (Tube station Fruängen). The TAIFA STARS OF TANZANIA will be battling it out with The HARAMBEE STARS of KENYA (pictured above) for the magnificent SAAS trophy which will be presented to the victorious side after the game.

Once again Usain Bolt made the world go crazy! The new World Record for 200 meters now stands at 19.19 seconds smashing his previous record of 19.30! What makes it all the more incredible is Usain also said he was ill-prepared for the 200mtrs having missed some of last season while celebrating his Gold in Beijing!
Stunning is just the first of many superlatives you could use to describe him.

“Sports do not build character. They reveal it.” John Wooden
Situated close to the North Pole, being in Sweden can be quite a freezing experience in the winters. Land of the Vikings, Sweden has inhospitable winters but that doesn’t mean that you have to shiver through the season. Do like the Swedes do when in Sweden! Get a pair of skates, gulp a couple of Absolute shots and off you go skating around the archipelago.

Well, if you weren't aware you're watching a football game you'd probably think it was a wildlife documentary. It is quite understandable how non-African viewers have found the 'buzzing' Vuvuzelas irritating, and that officials of the World Cup are being flooded with complaints about the loud plastic trumpets, they claim to be “the sound of Africa”.
Hold on a sec, plastic trumpets - "The sound of Africa"...hmmm...not sure we agree here; is that the only audible contribution the sound-, smell- and colourful African continent has to offer?

Is it a bird? Is it a Plane? Well it's kind of both. Jamaicas top sprinter does it again! Usain Bolt 22 yrs old set a new world record with 9.58 seconds at the World Athletics Championships in Berlin just seconds ago!
This only leaves us wondering how much faster can this young man go? But don't blink or you may miss it!!
