Friday evening saw the staging of the MANIFEST 2010 awards in Stockholm, Sweden. An award that celebrates works of Swedish Independent music & Music Labels. 16 awards were handed out to different music genres with one of Urbanlifes favourite artist Jaqee winning a deserved prize for the album "Kokoo Girl".

Review: Faunafest & Putumayo Nights
As the smell of succulent seafood paella wafted over us, the candles flickering in the balcony above combined with music -best described as urban lounge- it was hard to believe I was at the same Faunafest & Putumayo Night event urbanlife had visited before. In September, we felt the buffet was at odds with the setting but now the selection was as delicious to smell as it was to eat, satisfying any tummy! Beautiful women and cool guys mingled with happy couples, and it was hard not to sense an air of romance. Any single people in Stockholm, tired of hanging out in bars filled with large numbers of Swedish kids under 25, would have felt at home here.
