More artists booked
We’re only a couple of months away from one of the biggest Reggae events in Sweden, the well renowned Uppsala Reggae Festival! Tickets went on sale in December 2008 and several artists are already booked.
The list of artists attending this year just keeps growing and now includes; Third World (Jam) Junior Kelly (Jam) and legendary UK Reggae DJ, David Rodigan.
Artists such as Kulteration, Alpha Blondie (Civ), Don Carlos (Jam), have also been added with new artists such as The Heptones ( Jam), Busy Signal (Jam), Ziggi & The Renaissance Band (NL), the Swedish Academy (S), cultivate concentration (S), Nazar Enes (S), Safari Sound (S), Komposti Sound (Fin) and others.
This is an exciting line-up. In light of the events that have happened over the years concerning artists we are thankful that it has not deterred any Jamaican acts from attending.
For those who have never attended we can highly recommend the Uppsala Reggae Festival. It has a wonderful, peaceful atmosphere, despite recent years of bad weather and is an excellent advertisement for culture in Uppsala and Sweden.
