If you ever wondered what White Supremacists thought about Obama before the election here’s your answer. Esquire Magazine had a fascinating report on the political views of white supremacists, racists, and other hate-mongers and found that many of them were supporting Obama for the presidency!

After the Cyndee Peters & Friends gala Urbanlife had the privilege to do a quick interview with Sweden’s Minister of Integration and Gender Equality, Nyamko Sabuni:
How does it feel to attend this event tonight? It feels really good and I think it’s a historical day that is worthy of a celebration.
How does Barack Obama becoming president affect you as a politician?
It is inspiring to see that a politician like Barack Obama can succeed and I wish that Swedish politicians could be as open with their messages as Obama has been. But I also would like the Swedish voters to recognize that politicians are ordinary people with everyday problems, just like the American voters have recognized in Obama.
Are there opportunities for a “Swedish Obama”, a Prime Minister Nyamko Sabuni, in the future?
I don’t think you should look at it in that way. Just because we share the same skin colour and that we’re both politicians doesn’t mean that I automatically would be a “Swedish Obama”. But I do think that there are opportunities for Swedish politicians to get their message across to the voters in a similar way to how Obama has done. Anders Borg is an example of a politician that I think has that ability.

Change will not come if we wait for some other person or some other time. We are the ones we've been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.
~Barack Obama
The winds of change are finally here! Barack Obama is the first African American to be elected as the President of the United States. If this is not news, then what is?
Some people see Obama as a great speaker; some see him as a good politician while others see him as an African American whose election win changed the face of America. But what is he really?
