 Friday 6 May at 18.00 is the official kick off for Jazzkökets 'African Night' in Västerås.They promise an evening filled with African food and music, combining spicy flavors with African tunes you are bound to remember. LIVE ON STAGE: ZIFA 3, Mikael Zifa Eriksson, singer and songwriter who grew up in the small village of Semendua in central Africa. Zifa spent the first 16 years of his life in the Democratic Republic of Congo where his participation in choir singing and drumming influenced Zifa's stylized song writing. In 2009 Zifa received the cultural prize from Deverthska Cultural Foundation for " ...his work in spreading central african music in Sweden with great inspiration and joy..."
