 On December 19 Tensta Gospel Choir offer a warm welcome to a Christmas concert in Tensta Church.
Under the direction of the dynamic Cedwin Sandanam, who Urbanlife recently wrote about in the review of Putumayo Nights, you can look forward to an evening of powerful gospel vocals with influences from soul, R & B and even hip hop. The choir is backed by a fully equipped band (piano, organ, bass, drums, guitar and brass). After the concert, it's a open mic session for anyone wishing to express their own artistic work, or just jam. Perhaps tomorrow's stars from Tensta or other parts of Stockholm can get their first breakthrough here. Take the opportunity to experience contemporary gospel music that blends tradition with modern genres.
