 Incredible timing. Urbanlife are currently in discussions regarding producing our very own 70's Blackploitation film, but it looks like the US have beaten us to it. Introducing BLACK DYNAMITE – a gun-toting, nunchuck-wielding, ladies man and soul brother number one!Michael Jai White (The Dark Knight/Spawn) looks perfectly cast as BLACK DYNAMITE. When “The Man” murders his brother, pumps heroin into local orphanages, and floods the ghetto with adulterated malt liquor, BLACK DYNAMITE is the one hero willing to fight all the way from the blood-soaked city streets to the hallowed halls of the Honky House. Written and directed by Scott Sanders (Thick as Thieves), BLACK DYNAMITE also stars Tommy Davidson, Nicole Sullivan, Bokeem Woodbine, Arsenio Hall (remember him!) and John Salley. I'm expecting to enjoy BLACK DYNAMITE more than the disappointing remake of Shaft starring Samuel L. Jackson (2000) as this looks to be a clever and humorous send-up of a genre, something the Wayans brothers should also take note of (incredibly, they are producing White Chicks 2!!!! WHY OH WHY?). Based purely on the excellent trailer, I'm giving this 5 stars.  By the way, If you're a black Swedish girl who can kick ass, give us a call!
