Urban Africa Movement* needs HELP finding pictures!
There will be a Cinemafrica festival in October in Stockholm, and Urban Africa Movement has been asked to participate with a small exhibit – and to do that they need pictures of modern African cities. Finding pictures of African cities on the web is not difficult, but there are two problems: - copyright issues often poses a major obstacle to using pics, and - most of them are too small - we need picture-sizes of more than 1500 pixels (on the longer side).

The idea of the Urban Africa Movement is to show the world that Africa has modern cities, and has had cities since ancient history. Too many are unaware that Africa had ancient and medieval kingdoms and empires equal to kingdoms and empires in any part of the world in ancient and medieval times. By showing an array of pictures of modern Africa we aim to promote a reality-based image of Africa, instead of just images of misery and safari.
The point is: Africa has good and bad, just like any part of the world.
The Urban Africa Movement is just that – a movement. If you are willing to promote the aims above, then you are a part of the movement. No other rules apply, no membership is needed.
NOTE: by "Africa" in this context they are referring to sub-Saharan Africa.
