Urbanlife.se is a website for all people that are interested in Afro/Caribbean culture.

We write about music, film, literature and other subjects related to Afro/Caribbean culture and you can also find information about clubs, concerts and events. Urbanlife.se also has an extensive business directory with contact information to barbershops, African restaurants and African food stores.

For those who like to cook we recommend our recipe section, which contains lots of delicious recipes for African and Caribbean dishes.

On the site you can also listen to Urbanlife Radio and watch exclusive video interviews on Urbanlife TV.


Who are the people behind Urbanlife.se?

The main people behind the site are Andy Collins, Christian Hofverberg and Angelina Peters.

Andy Collins is the creator of Urbanlife.se. He’s born and raised in London, has Caribbean background and is a trained graphic designer.

Christian Hofverberg is a freelance journalist. He is adopted from Colombia, grew up in Täby (a suburb in Stockholm) and got his education at the Poppius Journalist School.

Angelina Peters is a market coordinator. She’s born and raised in Solna (a suburb in Stockholm), has Caribbean background and is a trained copywriter.

Urbanlife.se also works with photographers Veri Betnér and Xulio Gonzales.

What makes Urbanlife.se unique?

Urbanlife.se is the only webpage in Sweden were you can find news, information, stores and interviews about Afro/Caribbean culture from a broad perspective.

We show the whole spectrum of African/black culture whether it is African-American culture, African culture, Afro-Latino culture or Caribbean culture. But most of all, Urbanlife gives you all information about Afro-Swedish culture.
